Asus Launches ROG Xbox Ally & Ally X in India: Next-Level Handheld Gaming

Asus has introduced its latest gaming handhelds, the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, in India. These devices, developed in partnership with Xbox, combine high-performance hardware with a portable form factor, targeting gamers who prioritize flexibility without compromising on performance.

The ROG Xbox Ally series is now available for purchase at Asus and ROG Exclusive Stores, Vijay Sales, and major e-commerce platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and the official ASUS eShop. The standard ROG Xbox Ally is priced at Rs. 69,990, while the premium ROG Xbox Ally X carries a price of Rs. 1,14,990.

The ROG Xbox Ally runs on the AMD Ryzen Z2 A processor, paired with 16GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, and a 60Wh battery. It weighs 670 grams. The ROG Xbox Ally X steps up the performance with an AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, 24GB RAM, 1TB storage, and an 80Wh battery, weighing 715 grams. Both models feature a 7-inch Full HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Corning Gorilla Glass protection, anti-reflective coating, and ergonomic grips with a palm rest for long gaming sessions.

Both devices operate on Windows 11 Home but launch directly into a full-screen Xbox interface. This console-style layout provides instant access to games and settings, removing the need to switch to the standard desktop environment.

Asus has also launched a range of accessories to complement the handhelds. The ROG Bulwark Dock DG300 offers a 7-in-1 hub with HDMI, USB-C, USB-A, Ethernet, and audio ports, supporting 4K and 8K output. Gamers can also use the BC3004 ROG Slash Sling Bag 4.0, an 8-litre PU leather bag designed for easy access and travel. The ROG Xbox Ally 2-in-1 Premium Case is water-resistant and doubles as a stand, while ROG Ranger Gaming Backpacks, available in 22L to 35L sizes, provide multiple compartments for organizing gear.

Asus aims to strengthen its gaming ecosystem in India through both devices and a growing lineup of ROG accessories. Additional accessories are expected to roll out in the coming weeks, catering to gamers seeking both portable and stationary setups.
